We know that the last 6 months have been an incredibly difficult time for many of our families and so are now able to offer free therapy/counselling sessions to those who would like to access it.
Clare Wilson offers Counselling at her offices in Morley. Therapy would be on a 1:1 basis, so social distancing and government guidelines can be adhered to at all times. Every surface would be cleaned prior to each client and afterwards too.
Clare provides a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space and uses a multi-model approach to counselling. She is trained in, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Person Centred Therapy, to name a few. Therefore she has a vast “tool box” to use to help a variety of issues and can really tailor the counselling to each individual. One size does not fit all in counselling so it will be led by the client and the presenting issue/s.
What can counselling help with?
Counselling can help you cope with:
- a mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder
- an upsetting physical health condition, such as infertility
- a difficult life event, such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress
- difficult emotions – for example, low self-esteem or anger
- many other issues
SNAPS would like to fund these initial sessions, but first we need to understand the demand for this service. If you are interested, please get in touch Jo Milburn at email@example.com with your name, email address and telephone number by Monday 28th September. You do not need to share any of the reasons behind wanted to access this service with Jo. Once we understand how many people are interested, we can assess exactly what we can offer in terms of numbers of sessions.
