SNAPS is working hard to ensure that we can open our doors again when it is safe to do so and government guidelines allow. As you know there are many factors that affect when this date will be including:
- When Leeds City Council open their SILCs to external bookings
- The guidance on when we can delivery physiotherapy services
- Having the right staffing levels in place
- Our own risk assessment of when we can deliver a service safely
We hope we may be able to offer some face-to-face services in the Autumn Term, but this is not guaranteed. Currently our initial opening plans would be to offer 5 or 6 rebound sessions at each site, each week but sadly there would be no hall activities. You would simply come for your rebound session and leave afterwards. We would only have one family accessing the building at any one time, PPE would be worn and all surfaces would be thoroughly disinfected between families.
However, to help us in our planning, it would be really useful if you could tell us if you would like a place on the rebound rota should it be available.
As we will be working at reduced capacity, PLACES WILL BE LIMITED, so to express an interest in these rebound sessions, please could you fill in the attached form by 9th August.
We really hope we will see some of you soon!
With thanks and best wishes,
SNAPS (Special Needs and Parent Support)
