Our first community superheroes are Co-op Food on High Ash Drive, Leeds, who have repeatedly filled up collection tins for us throughout the year and have raised a fabulous £300.21 so far! Thank you to the staff and customers at High Ash Co-op.

They are joined by our second hero, Clare Ambler. Clare set up a birthday fundraiser on Facebook and raised a wonderful £66.98 to celebrate her big day. Thank you Clare!

Irwin Mitchell have continued to be fantastic supporters of SNAPS in July by supporting us at the Broomfield Summer Fair on 20th July. Thank you so much!

Members of our very own SNAPS team, along with staff at HSBC, took on a two hour high-intensity Jumpathon on 3rd July to raise vital funds. They raised a whopping £1,217.75, which is to be matched by HSBC! Read more here.

Our SNAPS Superheroes were on a roll that week, as a team of heroes took on the Leeds 10K on 7th July! The nine-strong team conquered the course and raised an incredible £5,236.11! Thank you to Mujtaba, George, Eve, Sanna, Lucie, Lisa, Eloise, Rebecca and Kate. Read more here.

A huge thank you to Parent Trustee Lora Bedford, who organised a charity fun night at Barnbow Social Club. It was a night full of fun and fundraising, with a wonderful £859.29 raised on the night! This will also partly be matched by Lloyds Bank. Read more here.

Our very own Broomfield and Penny Field have also been heroes in July! Penny Field held a bake sale with lots of yummy treats. Broomfield organised their very own summer fair with loads of fun activities, raising a fantastic £561.00!

In July we also received the amazing news that the University of Leeds Staff Festival, which SNAPS was chosen as charity partner for this year, raised £2,442.28! This is the event’s second highest ever total – well done to everyone involved! Read more here.

A huge thank you as well to parent Danni Howcroft for raising a brilliant £60 by raffling a choice of nail treatment through her business Facebook page!

We are also incredibly grateful to have received incredibly generous donations from the Garfield Weston Foundation, St James’s Place Charitable Foundation and the Sir George Martin Trust. The grants they have awarded to us will help fund our vital physiotherapy and support services.
