SNAPS’ Family Support Project provides support to parents and carers looking after a child with additional needsThrough a combination of listening, providing information and organised parent and carer sessions and family activities we want to offer opportunities for parents and carers to take some time for themselves and for families to meet others in similar situations to themselves.

We do this through

  • Information and support
  • Parent and carer groups
  • Wellbeing activities
  • ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions
  • Family and holiday activities
  • A counselling service
  • Signposting and referrals to other services

If you can refer yourself directly to our Family Support Project and activities by following this link to our online form. Professionals can also use this form to refer a family you are working with. Children do not need to have a formal diagnosis for families to receive support.
