The SNAPS Super Stars Awards
The SNAPS Super Stars Awards celebrate the bravery, determination and positivity of the children, and their families, who access SNAPS’ services.
Often our families are told about all the things that their child won’t be able to do. At SNAPS we celebrate all the things that they CAN do. The SNAPS Super Stars Awards recognise and celebrate every child’s achievements. Children can be nominated for all sorts of reasons, whether it be their beaming smile or achieving their physio goals. We celebrate every child and give all the children at SNAPS the opportunity to have an award, including siblings.
SNAPS Virtual Supers Stars
We think that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel SUPER. With this in mind, we like to recognise children and adults outside of SNAPS via the SNAPS Super Stars Virtual Awards. This is a way to celebrate the people who make a difference to your lives – after all, there are so many super people out there helping to make life special.
This could be a teacher, carer, co-worker or family member, and you can nominate them for absolutely anything you like! Nominations are free, with the option to make a donation to SNAPS if you so wish.
The 2024 SNAPS Super Stars Awards
We were delighted to celebrate the SNAPS Super Stars Awards with our families, founders, Business Heroes, corporate supporters and local heroes in April this year.
We had a red carpet to welcome everyone as well as party games, dancing, singing, crafting, a photo booth, magical drinks and of course cake!
A huge thank you to all of our sponsors who funded the morning and helped make it truly magical – Manning Stainton, Fletchers Group, Newton Waterproofing Systems, Ikon Design Ltd and Taylor Wimpey plc.
We’d also like to say a big thank you to our incredible volunteers from Strata, Hippo and Fowler and Powell, who worked hard throughout the morning to ensure decorations and balloons were ready, drinks were filled, cake was sliced and the craft table was full!
And thank you to Irwin Mitchell and Hays Travel for celebrating with us, and for your continued support over the years.
