As a founder member of SNAPS, Anne remains very proud of what the charity is achieving in supporting families and children with additional needs

Before moving to Leeds in 1983, Anne taught PE in a variety of settings up and down the country. She joined Mencap and worked very happily there as Head of Nursery at a time of great change in the world of Education – notably the introduction of inclusion of children with additional needs in a mainstream setting.

Anne loves to walk in the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire, and enjoys Book Club and listening to Classic FM.
